👻 1. Ernest Scared Stupid Earnest scared stupid

Ernest scared stupid is about a troll who converts children into wooden dolls and eventually feeds on them. The townspeople capture the monster, who, then, seal him underneath an oak tree. Several years later, a sanitation maintainer known as Ernest assists some kids to construct a Halloween tree house.

Unknown to him, the tree becomes possessed by the beast that is although dormant but still alive. The beast demolishes the house, then, becoming unleashed. Eventually the troll transforms into different creatures and is after the life of Ernest and the little kids. In the epilogue, Ernest destroys the monster. He also recovers all the old dolls and releases the souls of the trapped children. Consequently, his life once again becomes normal. Year of production: 1991.

👻 2. Return to Halloween-town 

Return to Halloweentown is a Walt Disney Movie. It has received several highly positive reviews, even from the critics. Furthermore, the movie quickly became a box office success. This movie is the final installment in the Halloween Series. So, it centers on Marnie and Dylan who had a goal of joining the Halloween University, otherwise known as the witch university. Although their mother Gwen opposed the decision, they both joined. Dylan was asked by Gwen to keep an eye on her sister. Marnie gets to know that she is the one causing the restriction on the use of Magic. Consequently, the state of the art features and the epic direction during the course of the movie made it a big box office success. In the end, Marnie, having discovered that Dylan is the only one she trusts, transfers all the powers to him. Year of production: 2006.

3. The Worst Witch 

The Worst Witch is a TV film produced in 1986 featuring Fairuza Balk and Tim Curry. The movie is based on the children book titled The Worst Witch, written by Jill Murphy. An amazing and interesting feature of the film is that Grand Wizard (Jill Murphy) is the only male character while the rest characters in the film all are women and girls. The movie is about a witch named Mildred. She is notoriously responsible for most of the mishaps at the academy.

Often times, she turns magic to turn the fellows into pigs after which a series of outrageous events will occur. The climax of the movie is when Agatha plans to take over the academy which she intends using for her evil spells and purposes. She was not only thwarted by Mildred, but her plans are totally destroyed.  Because of this, Mildred eventually became the hero of the Academy. Year of production: 1986.

4. Hocus Pocus 

This movie is about Cassie, a thirteen year old student, who loves to trick her fellows and especially her younger Max who is often aroused. One day, as she was on her way back from school, she finds an awkward Halloween store and went inside. She buys a book titled Evil thing. Cassie was warned by the shop owner never to read the spell that was written in the book aloud and never think about the monster who will then come to life.

Cassie goes ahead and read aloud in the middle of the night for Max as she does not believe the shopkeeper. While their parents attending a Halloween party in a far away place, the monster is back to life by Max thoughts. The beast was confronted by Cassie, Max and Sean (Cassie’s boyfriend) and it was defeated. The parents later arrived. The father mockingly reads out the magical verse and the film ends on the note that the monster is alive and not dead.  Year of production: 2007.

5. It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown – [Movie]

Beetlejuice is the ultimate classic Halloween movie. This move is great for the whole family. Beetlejuice was filmed in 1988, directed by Tim Burton. Are you asking, what this movie is about? The house is haunted and the new family that moves in does not know this of course nor were they expecting to share the home with other residents, ghosts. By the end of the movie the two families agree to live in harmony.
