The Director of Pipestone Museum, Susan Hoskins, presents Elusive Palisades: Evolution of an Early Dakota Territory Community on the 3rd Thursday, March History Talk. The event is sponsored by CorTrust bank.

Learn more about this legendary town that thrived for a time before wilting. She shares personal histories and more about the area that was absorbed by the city of Garretson.

The Dakota Academy of Performing Arts brings you the story of Stanley Lamb chop, a ten-year-old boy who wakes up flat after a run-in with a bulletin board. In this musical journey, Flat Stanley travels the world looking for a way to return to being a three-dimensional boy again.

The musical adventure is based on the book by Scott Nash. Performance materials are supplied by Music Theatre Inernational. Music is by David Weinstein, Jonathan K. Waller, Timothy A. McDonald, and Stephen Gabriel.

Jerry Fogg is a self-taught artist who creates beautiful works of art by painting buffalo skulls with representations of the spirit of Tatanka. Lakota legend says that the American bison/buffalo, Tatanka, helped sustain the first people by sacrificing his body.

🥘 March 28 | Downtown Sioux Falls Food Tour

  • Where: Severance Brewing Co. – 701 North Phillips Avenue, Suite 110
  • Hosted By: Sioux Falls Food Tours

See Downtown Sioux Falls through fresh eyes and experience the incredible food culture at local cafes, restaurants, and breweries. The tour begins at Severance Brewing Co. and continues to select downtown locations.

The tour is open to 15 adults. Ticket prices for the tour are around $69.00 per person.

👩‍🍳 April 7 | Master Chef Junior Live!

You’ve seen it on television, but now you can see the action in person via the debut United States tour of Master Chef Junior. The show is suitable for people of all ages. You don’t want to miss the cooking demonstrations that include lots of fun and messy action.

There are limited VIP Packages available. These packages include premium seats, a meet & greet, photographs, a signed poster, and more.

🌌 April 11 | Star lab Inflatable Planetarium

  • When: Saturday, April 11 | 1:30 PM & 2:30 PM
  • Where: 200 West 6th Street
  • Hosted By: Old Courthouse Museum

Star lab brings the experience of the night sky to you via this inflatable planetarium that simulates stars and constellations. The presentation is suitable for those 5 years of age and older. It’s important for those attending to be comfortable in darkness.

Groups of 8 or more people are asked to call 605-367-4210 to register before attending. You are encouraged to arrive 10-15 minutes before the show to purchase tickets.

📽️ April 22 | The Texas Tenors

For one night only, The Texas Tenors, famous for their success on America’s Got Talent, will be in Downtown Sioux Falls! This Emmy award-winning music group will present songs from their recent albums, Rise and A Collection of Broadway and American Classics.

The Texas Tenors are Marcus Collins, John Hagen, and JC Fisher. The performance is suitable for people of all ages.

Wildlife expert and photographer, Marty DeWitt gives a visual presentation that includes trivia and photo tips. The images include scenic vistas, whales, glaciers, wildlife, and more. Explore the great Alaskan frontier through this One Book Sioux land 2020 Program.
