St. Michael School | History

St. Michael School first opened its doors to 21 kindergarten students in the fall of 1995. Since then, the school has been serving students from preschool all the way to 6th grade. Today, the total enrollment is about 280 students with an average class size of 16.

St. Michael School | School Program

The school offers flexible preschool programs for children aged 3 to 5. Its preschool curriculum address faith development, fine and gross motor skills, pre-reading readiness skills, language development, and technology, music and art exploration. The students are fostered in a faith-filled, creative and nurturing learning environment under the hands of highly qualified teachers.

Full day, every day Kindergarten is offered at St. Michael School, with students attending class Monday through Friday. The program considers student maturation in their curriculum, and the need for enrichment and play through family, daycare or other extended opportunities. Success in grades are made to come hand in hand with faith development.

The school offers education for children up to 6th grade, with two sections for every grade. The average class size of 18-20 allows the community to easily gather for prayer and worship, as well as for fun activities. The students are taught to earn high scores and show excellent growth in academic areas on informal, formal and standardized tests.

St. Michael School | Parent Information

The school encourages parents and guardians to volunteer in the lunchroom, library, school kitchen, computer laboratory and classrooms. They are also encouraged to help in preparations for Grandparents’ Day, St. Nicholas Day, Specialty Day, and All Saint’s Day parties.
