Geographically, Roosevelt High School resides on a 40-acre campus in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Back to the beginning, Roosevelt High school opened their doors in September of 1991. More than 2,000 students encompass Roosevelt’s student body. Specifically, the students embody grades 9 through 12. Roosevelt High school attains membership and accreditation by the South Dakota Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Furthermore, the high school attains membership and accreditation by Advanced. Impressively, the school consistently ranks nationally and continues to be recognized by the Washington Post and US News & World Report.

At Roosevelt, the learning process aims for academic success among all students. Furthermore, the classrooms enhance exploration, involvement, reflection, and evaluation based on their unique design. Recently, Roosevelt High School qualified for meeting all standards of the No Child Left Behind legislation. The Roosevelt High School Booster Club aims to give information to students, parents, teachers, alumni, and the community. The Booster Club helps in supporting all the activities at Roosevelt High School. The club have two major funding resources: the President’s Bowl and donors. Everyone in the school and the community is encouraged to help support the club through gifts and memberships.

Roosevelt High School aims to challenge the students to achieve their truest potentials. This is done with classroom structure, analytical thinking and guidance. The school has students in the Advance Placement program of the district. To ensure academic success, many students have started gaining college credit and preparing with an arduous curriculum.
